PowerDEX, a Reno, Nevada-based company, started as an automotive online inventory for automotive dealerships across the nation. Today, PowerDEX is known for the ControlCSI suite of online tools, designed
specifically for the automotive industry so users can centrally access
multiple applications with a single login. Dealerships no longer had to keep track of countless user names and passwords.
PowerDEX’s portal has integrated various essential dealership tools into a single online dashboard, removing the need to switch to different computer programs.
PowerDEX continues to capture ways to empower dealerships and dealer groups to take control of their operations and bottom line with the acquisition of AccuDOX, a finance and insurance solution, and the future unveiling of AccuDEX, a robust Dealership Management System.
OFFICERS
Anthony Crews
Crews was born and educated in South Africa. He began is career with Steffen, Robertson & Kristen, a fledgling consulting engineering company that is now an internationally reputed company providing mostly professional services to the mining industry. Crews joined Steffen, Robertson & Kirsten (Canada), in their Vancouver, BC office in 1970. Crews has over 33 years of experience with providing professional consulting services for geotechnical, civil, and environmental engineering projects both national and international. Crews has co-owned a couple of consulting engineers companies, one of which was WESTEC Inc. in Reno, Nevada, employing 160 professional and technical personnel providing services to the mining industry. He was also director of Battle Mountain Gold Corporation, a publically traded US gold exploration and royalty company which was subsequently bought out by Royal Gold Inc.
He is currently a co-owner of The MINES Group, Inc. which was formed in 1997 to provide professional consulting services to the mining industry. Crews has been, and still is, intimately involved with the mining community managing and designing projects mainly in the precious and base metals industry.
John-Eric Jones
Jones is a pioneer in the field of online services and applications for the automotive industry. Jones was part of a team that developed during the 1990s web-based marketing applications using IBM’s lauded WEBSphere. Over the next decade, he was involved with several successful business ventures, culminating in the acquisition of a Dealer Specialties franchise for Nevada. Through his various enterprises, Jones has developed a network of relationships with auto dealers, suppliers and distributors across North America.
Dejay Hayn
Hayn has more than 20 years of sales management experience. He specializes in automotive strategic relations and franchising and business development. Most recently, he worked for JMsolutions as Director of Strategic Relations, managing multi-channel and publicly traded automotive groups. Prior to that, Hayn was the General Manager of Franchising for Dealer Specialties, managing over 200 franchisees that represented and serviced thousands of dealers nationwide.
Bill Geisen
Geisen has more than 12 years of automotive experience, having held an impressive array of positions at the dealership level, including controller, finance and insurance (F&I), sales and parts and service. This experience has afforded understanding of the personalities and mentalities of the staff at each level. Geisen has also spent several years with a public accounting firm that specialized in the automotive industry. As a staff accountant, he was not only exposed to the various dealership franchises and their individual accounting practices, but also to the numerous Dealer Management Systems (DMS) in use in the market. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Washington State University.
David Robinson
Robinson has over 28 years in finance, sales and marketing in the finance and automotive worlds. Robinson brings tremendous value and insight to PowerDEX and the AccuDOX application which he founded. Robinson is instrumental in engaging and bringing to PowerDEX the various relationships with finance companies and the individual Department of Motor Vehicles in the various states.
